We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of woodturning. Our mission is to provide information, education, organization and assistance for those interested in turning wood. We do this through a variety of activities including:

Monthly meetings (Sept – June)

These take place on the fourth Saturday of the month from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Central Saanich Senior Citizens Centre – 1229 Clark Rd in Brentwood Bay.

The monthly meetings provide an opportunity to share information and advice with other turners and feature live demonstrations on skills, techniques, and a range of projects by Guild members, guest turners from other Guilds and professional turners. The meetings also feature a raffle for wood, tools and supplies as well as a Show and Tell which provides an opportunity to show your work in a supportive environment.  (Meetings can also be viewed live on Zoom.)

Women in Turning

The Guild has a Women in Turning section whose purpose is to support each other as we gain confidence and skill in our turning and to be a social and creative outlet.
